Arthur Elgort

I really like the simplicity of this photo and how Kate Moss looks so glamorous. I definitely think that the red lip stick and the cigarette add a certain look to the whole photo, it reminds me of women of the 50's the whole glamour and rich look especially with her hair and how the strap has fallen on the top all the elements fit perfectly together and create this scene.

This photograph is of Lauren Hutton who was a very famous super model in the 70's and still is, this was taken in 1975 for Ultimo Revlon. I feel that it has a very classic element to it and because she is looking towards us but there is someone at the side of her trying to get a photo, it also feels very natural and not constructed. When I look at this photo I see glamour and elegance which appeals to me.

I think this photo of Kate Moss taken in 1993 in Paris is almost unbelievable as she is stood on the table with a cigarette in a posh cafe in Paris, while two posh looking business men are obviously trying to dine. But also it appeals to me as it actually looks like they are thinking 'what is she doing!' which I love and I think Arthur Elgort has captured it perfectly.

This is Kate Moss again in Nepal in 1993, I love this as it looks very urban and she looks very vunerable which you would be if you were sat on an elephant you are waiting for anything to happen, I have done it - it was scary:). But she also looks poised and is probably only thinking about getting a great shot so she can get down.
